Staking & claiming
Staked SPAPER earns a pro-rata share of each hourly USDT distribution, with no lock-up and no gas.
Stake#
To stake, a user selects an amount of at least 1,000 SPAPER and signs the request in the wallet. Staking takes effect immediately; there is no lock-up and no cooldown.
Distributions#
Distributions occur roughly every hour and are split across all staked SPAPER pro-rata. Pending dividends accrue with each distribution while SPAPER remains staked. Each distribution contains:
- the staker half of fees booked since the previous distribution;
- LP surplus above the reserve line (initially 5,000,000 USDT), only while the payout queue is empty and the LP holds the cash.
If nothing is staked at distribution time, the amount is carried into the next distribution.
Example#
Alice stakes the 9,800 SPAPER minted by her liquidation. Assume 980,000 SPAPER is staked in total and 40 USDT of fees is booked before the next distribution, with no LP surplus.
| Input | Rule | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Alice's share | 9,800 ÷ 980,000 | 1% |
| Staker half of fees | 40 × 50% | 20 USDT |
| Alice's dividend | 20 × 1% | 0.20 USDT |
share = 9,800 ÷ 980,000 = 1%
dividend = 40 × 50% × 1% = 0.20 USDT

Alice's pending dividend increases by 0.20 USDT, claimable at any time.
Claim#
Claiming moves pending USDT dividends into the trading balance. From there the funds can be used as margin or withdrawn to the wallet.
Unstake#
Any amount can be unstaked at any time. Dividends already earned remain claimable.
Gas#
Stake, unstake and claim are wallet-signed messages submitted by the relayer. Users pay no gas.
Dev share#
The other half of fees accrues to a dedicated dev fee address. 20% of the dev share is used to buy back and burn SOLON, and invite rebates are paid from it.
