One-click copy
Copy pre-fills the order ticket with another trader's position; the order is signed by the copying trader and settles at the current signed price.
How copy works#
A trader can select Copy on a position shown on a trader profile or in the live trade feed.
- Copy pre-fills the order ticket with the leader's market, direction, leverage and margin. Every field can be edited before confirmation.
- The order is signed by the copying trader with their own session key. Nothing is placed automatically, and no one can trade on another account's behalf.
- The copied position opens at the signed index price when the order settles, not at the leader's entry price.
Here, the leader is the trader whose position is copied and the follower is the trader who copies it.
Late-entry warning#
If the price has moved since the leader opened, the ticket shows the gap between the leader's entry and the current price, together with the resulting distance to liquidation. A later entry changes the liquidation price and the risk relative to the leader's position.
Example#
A leader opens a 100× BTC long at 80,000. Alice copies the position with 100 USDT margin when the index is 80,240.

Entering 0.3% later raises Alice's liquidation price by about 238, so a smaller decline liquidates her position than the leader's.
After the leader closes#
When the leader closes a position that was copied, the follower receives a notification. The follower's position stays open until the follower closes it.
Copy records#
The trade history lists each copied trade alongside the leader's: the follower's entry and the leader's entry, and both results.
Not copied#
Limit orders, take-profit and stop-loss are not copied. Followers set their own.
